Status of Neutrino Fits

The last five years have been extraordinary for neutrino physics, with the Super-Kamiokande evidence of atmospheric neutrino oscillations1, the SNO evidence of solar neutrino oscillations2,3, the KamLAND 4 and K2K 5 confirmations of these evidences with neutrinos from controlled laboratory sources. As a result of the findings of these and other important experiments, a scenario of bilarge mixing of three neutrinos has emerged as favored by the data. In this review I briefly summarize the results of solar, KamLAND, atmospheric and K2K neutrino experiments in Sections 2 and 3 and their interpretation in terms of two-neutrino oscillations. In Section 4 I describe the three-neutrino mixing schemes favored by neutrino oscillation data and I discuss the open problem of the determination of the absolute neutrino mass scale, including the recent stringent limit6 from cosmological data. Conclusions are drawn in Section 5.
